Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team |

Hello All,
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ This week St Matthew's neighbourhood team have been focusing on the rate of ASB (Anti-social behaviour) in the local area. To Tackle this the local officers have held surgeries in Walsall town centre, educating members of public about crime prevention and knife crime. Speed watches have also been held to tackle the anti-social drivers who dangerously speed. This has benefited the community as the speed watches have remained persistent making the streets safer to drive on. As well as that, to tackle the ASB, officers have teamed up with different housing groups to conduct ASB patrols around different housing areas, this results in the residents feeling safer as the officer presence has increased. Finally, while on the topic of housing, officers have also teamed up with SOCEX to close down an apartment in the Caldmore area that was highlighted to us for causing ASB, this pleased other residents as the issues have stopped and the morale has been much higher. 📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅 The local neighbourhood team intend to remain persistent with tackling ASB as it generally increases the morale of those who it affects. We will be holding more surgeries throughout the Walsall town to continue educating members of public of what has been going on and the long term effects we are looking at. We aim to help members of public understand the different topics that we choose to talk about as it would be relevant to current situations. 🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨 As stated we have been tackling these ASB issues and will continue to, updates will come as when they happen. We ask that any issues you may experience should be reported to 101 or 999 if it is urgent. That way we are able to tackle issues sooner and faster with the help of members of public.
We have visited many places that have experienced these issues and we have been able to deal with them accordingly. Whether this may be residential or in public places we still aim to resolve them in the best and most beneficial way. 📞 How to Contact Us or Report Information 📞 💬 Stay Connected with Your Local Team: 🤝🏼 Thank you for working with us to keep Walsall safe and informed.
